Adobe After Effects 4.0 is a software tool used for motion graphics and visual effects. After Effects is widely used for digital post-production of film, motion graphics, video, multimedia, and the Web. After Effects combines high-resolution compositing controls for multiple-layer compositions; sophisticated motion control for high-quality, two-dimensional animation; and advanced capabilities for time-varying visual effects. Footage you create in After Effects can be output digitally to film, videotape, CD-ROM, or the Web, and for playback on computers.
GoLive 5: Level 1 will guide you through the basics of creating a fully functional Web site. You will start by covering the basics of the World Wide Web and the GoLive environment, then move on to creating an individual Web page, designing a Web site, integrating text, links and images, incorporating tables and frames, and finally, cleaning up and exporting a completed site.
In Illustrator 10, you'll explore the basic skills that will allow you to take advantage of Illustrator’s powerful tools. You will then manipulate the various palettes and navigate through the Adobe Illustrator environment. You will create and modify paths using special drawing tools, and draw and edit geometric objects. You will apply fill and stroke attributes, colors, gradients, and transparency to objects and paths. You will also use layers to manage complex illustrations, enter and format type in an illustration, and create eye-catching type effects. Finally, you'll prepare Illustrator files for print and the Web.
Photoshop 6.0: Basic Skills 1 introduces students to the Photoshop environment. Students create a composite image using text, painting, and selection tools and by applying various effects and filters on an image.
Director 8.5: Level 3 introduces you, through hands-on tasks, to the features and capabilities of the Director 8.5 3D World.
